New Glidescope® Single-use Video Laryngoscopes Are First-ever Fully Disposable Glidescope Instruments
December 1, 2014 (Bothell, WA) – Verathon® Inc., a leading manufacturer and marketer of imaging and respiratory medical device solutions, announced the launch of new GlideScope Titanium Single-Use video laryngoscopes.
The all-new GlideScope blades were designed to be nearly identical in form and function to the company’s reusable blades launched in April, 2014. The low-profile designs improve maneuverability and increase working space in the mouth, supporting quicker intubations in a variety of clinical environments. With the industry’s slimmest blade profile, clinicians can address a wide range of clinical demands, from routine to difficult airways.
The new product line features two signature blade styles, LoPro and MAC. LoPro S3 and LoPro S4 feature the signature GlideScope blade angle and provide a thinner profile than existing single-use GlideScope products. The LoPro MAC S3 and MAC S4 blades offer a streamlined Macintosh-style design with the added benefits of video laryngoscopy.

GlideScope video laryngoscopes are designed to provide a consistently clear real-time view of the airway and endotracheal tube placement, enabling quick intubation in a wide variety of clinical settings.
The Single-Use blades are constructed of medical grade plastic, with an integrated camera and light source that is completely disposable.
